Our Home
Welcome to our beautiful and traditional family home in the lovely village of Troulos, on the Aegean island of Skiathos.
Batlis House has been in our family for 20 years, when my father instantly fell in love with this crumbling wonky perfect Greek house in 2002. As a family of carpenters and artists we absolutely love living here and sharing our home with like minded guests and friends that will enjoy it’s unique and traditional charm and character.
We have 4 spacious apartments, all with their own private kitchens, bathrooms and outside spaces, which can be rented separately, or together (sleeping 12). They all have their own kooky vibes and you will find bits of art and furniture around made us.
We live on site so we are around to help with anything you need, but generally we invite you to treat our home as your own home, lounge in the garden, make use of all the spaces, and have a great relaxing and happy holiday.
We also host art and wellness retreats, so please take a look at what we have planned in 2024.

Our Location
We are 10 Minutes from Troulos, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The walk to the beach takes you through goat fields, up little lanes, past tavernas and friendly dogs, along the beach road to this golden sandy, perfect swimming beach. We are also 10 minutes drive from the rest of the best beaches on the island, including Elias, Mandraki, Agistro and Koukounaries.
Troulos offers it’s own bunch of lovely restaurants and local shops, and we are 2 minutes from the bus stop 18. We are very well located to explore the rest of Skiathos, where besides the 60 beaches you will find fantastic restaurants, boutique shops all amongst beautiful windy streets. The town also has a theatre, and cinema which we highly recommend. Within the island there are old churches with fresco’s of the saints, the old capital of Kastro and the Monastery are two of my favourites and a visit to these will teach you about Skiathos' history. The ports are a spectacle of boat activity and you can catch a boat ride to the neighbouring islands.
